P1700 Service Vehicle Soon Request from Transmission Control Module MTA

Hi Guys, i have had this issue with my car for weeks now with it not starting, i have had the codes read from vx, and they said i needed a new clutch, i have now had this done independantly, and the car is still the same, with the error codes read yesterday P1700, transmission control module?? the code wont remove they said,
can anone tell me where i can get this looked at in the north west? or if anyone has any info please let me know, am really fed up with this car!!

Hi Guys, got my car back last week, it needed a new gear selector motor and a new clutch ecu, so i am presuming the original fault was that the clutch ecu burnt out the clutch and then the whole 3 needed doing, am made up i got it back, and all is great, 12 month warranty with it too... spent £400 for the new clutch inc parts and then £860 for the clutch ecu and the motor, dear do but worth it to have a car back feeling brand new!!! thanks for your help guys
Vites pozisyon şalter motoru ve yeni kavrama ecu (kontrol ünitesi)değişmiş.Dedigine göre debriyaj ünitesi sorun çıkartmış ve o da debriyajı yakmış.Toplam o arkadaşa £1280 =3000 ytl gibi bir masraf cıkartmış..Sizdeki sorun belki böyle değildir ama siz en kısa zamanda gösterin genede.Pek hayra alamet değil sanki p1700 arıza kodu..
